Documents are a valuable snapshot in history assisting in a greater understanding of a community in context to a particular moment in time. The following documents were chosen as a means to explore the political and social structure of Watsontown at various stages of its development and include such items as the election of 1868, charter of incorporation, original constitution and available federal census records.
