Welcome to mywatsontown.com, a companion website to an upcoming book by James Robison on the history of Watsontown, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17777.  In writing this companion to the history of Watsontown, it is hoped that people will view the progress of the research and writing and help critique the work in order to create the most accurate and upto date informative history possible.  Our hope is to span such topics as

Industry, including

  • Watsontown lumber industry

The entertainment industry of Watsontown would definitely include movies and eateries

  • Watson Theater (Gem Theater, Opera House, and Minerva Hall would have been predecessors to the Watson Theater)

  • the Mansion House

We also hope to be a resource for people who are researching
